Specialist, Virtual Access

Location: Remote role supporting an assigned, specific geography in the United States; North Chicago, Illinois

Salary: $65,500–$125,500 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers about patient support programs, access, and reimbursement using approved hirify.global tools and services.
• Advise provider offices on prescription status, program eligibility, payer processes, coverage requirements, and reimbursement barriers.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers within the assigned territory.
• Coordinate clear information exchange with Field Reimbursement Managers, healthcare providers, sales, market access, and patient services teams.
• Identify and report payer trends and lead process improvement initiatives that enhance system efficiency and patient access.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in account management, payer account management, and/or access and reimbursement.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough knowledge of payer policies, coverage criteria, documentation, coding, prior authorization, and appeal processes.
• Understanding of the rules, regulations, and risks associated with reimbursement support services and commercial and governmental payer access dynamics.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, workload-prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
