MedTech Field Service Software Tech Entry Level (MedTech)

Location: Dallas, TX; travel throughout the United States. Part-time assignment-based work typically requires 1–3 weeks onsite, 3 weeks of monthly availability, travel up to 3 hours from home, and residence within 1 hour of a major airport. Central Time Zone.

Salary: $27–$30 per hour.

What you will do

• Organize, install, configure, test, update, and troubleshoot medical devices.
• Install and configure hardware, software, network products, equipment, and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Manage project timelines and customer needs during field assignments.
• Work with healthcare professionals and on-site support teams in hospital environments.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related technical experience.
• Comfort with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices.
• Active and unrestricted driver license, personal vehicle, and willingness to use it for work assignments are required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Healthcare facility credentialing and required immunizations may be necessary, including vaccinations and a negative TB test.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of field technical experience focused on hardware and software installations.
• Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical work, or IT.
• Biomedical Technician experience or relevant military electronics, maintenance, or IT experience.
