MedTech Part Time Clinical Consultant (Medical Devices)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; in-person support is required in hospitals, including ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings. Some travel to other hospitals may be needed.

Compensation: $85.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support.
• Deliver medical device education to clinicians and patients in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab environments.
• Manage supported patients, complete proactive rounds, and assist with ongoing care.
• Develop product and therapy knowledge and maintain clinical competency through continuous learning.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center and support new and existing client accounts.
• Travel to and work at hospitals outside the base location as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab; CVICU experience is highly preferred.
• Significant ventricular medical device experience, including support for at least 10 cases or patients.
• RN or APP license, or relevant clinical experience; perfusionist and cardiovascular specialist backgrounds are also considered.
• Availability for at least 2 days of live field support and 5 days of availability per month, including 1 weekend.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and weekdays.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements and maintain up-to-date immunizations if required.
