Operations Manager (Smart Building Solutions)

Energy solutions provider developing, constructing, and operating smart energy efficiency solutions, distributed energy resources, and infrastructure upgrades.

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations and ensure project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Lead project managers, engineers, and technicians to improve efficiency and performance.
• Develop business growth and process improvement strategies.
• Oversee deployment of smart building solutions, including IoT, analytics, and energy management systems.
• Manage client, vendor, and industry partner relationships and represent the organization at industry events.
• Monitor financial performance through forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in building automation, smart building solutions, or DDC controls.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience is considered.
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems, IoT applications, and energy management solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, forecasts, and operational costs.
• Ability to travel within Florida as needed.
