Senior Specialist, Finance Processes & Control (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Support global financial compliance and adherence to the Global Internal Controls Framework.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Optro, formerly AuditBoard, including access management, testing, reporting, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Partner with process owners to assess risks, design controls, evaluate deficiencies, develop remediation plans, and maintain SOX documentation.
• Standardize, optimize, and automate control activities while addressing SAP user segregation-of-duties issues.
• Deliver SOX education and training and collaborate with internal and external auditors.
• Support business transactions, system implementations, Grants of Authority inquiries, and integration activities related to the Sun Pharma acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing, SOX compliance, or internal controls.
• Strong technology and business-systems skills, including strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with Optro, AuditBoard, or other internal control, governance, risk, and compliance systems.
• Strong integrity, compliance focus, business acumen, independent prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CPA qualification.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
