Senior Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Analyze security events, alerts, and threats while supporting vulnerability, alert, and incident oversight.
• Lead threat and vulnerability management, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, audits, and compliance activities.
• Investigate and respond to high-severity security incidents across endpoints, servers, and cloud environments.
• Perform digital forensics, static and dynamic malware analysis, proactive threat hunting, and threat modeling.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams on secure system design, security technology evaluations, and proof-of-concept testing.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security policies, standards, procedures, reporting, and dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT, email or cloud security, IT networking, and/or network security.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and/or IAM tools, plus large-scale log analysis and big data security analytics.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work with management across disciplines, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Availability for on-call duties during off-hours and holidays.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of application security and secure SDLC practices.
• Red team or penetration testing experience.
• Exposure to PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, or GDPR frameworks.
• Experience in cloud-native or hybrid-cloud enterprise environments.
• Security+, ISC2 CC, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, SSCP, or CCT certification.
