Associate Director, Strategy & Operations, Genetic Medicines

What you will do

• Partner with the hirify.global Genetic Medicines Clinical Development Unit Leadership Team on portfolio and departmental planning.
• Track critical program and departmental initiatives, deliverables, objectives, and organizational goals.
• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, special projects, change initiatives, and organizational planning.
• Prepare presentations on pipeline progress, strategic issues, financial performance, organizational changes, and external collaborations.
• Forecast headcount and resources, guide talent and succession planning, and support infrastructure and space planning.
• Facilitate monthly departmental meetings, drive continuous improvement, and promote AI productivity tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
• Deep understanding of the drug development process.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, scientific, and business skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI-powered productivity tools for drafting, research synthesis, structured analysis, and presentation development.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and contribute to or lead cross-functional strategic change initiatives.
• Expertise with Microsoft Teams, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Nice to have

• MBA, PhD, or PharmD.
• Experience guiding line managers in performance and talent management discussions.
