Senior Director, Business Strategy & Operations - Office of the CCO

Location: Waltham, MA, United States; onsite

Salary: $233,000–$280,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Act as a strategic advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial Leadership Team.
• Frame and resolve high-priority strategic, organizational, and operational questions.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution.
• Shape the Commercial operating model as the organization prepares for launch and future growth.
• Establish strategic planning, governance, business review, and decision-making rhythms.
• Develop executive- and Board-level materials and support organizational planning and capability-building.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience, including experience advising C-suite executives.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, PharmD, or PhD is preferred.
• Exceptional strategic problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without formal authority.
• Experience in commercial strategy, rare disease, product launches, or commercialization.
• Experience supporting late-stage development, significant growth, organizational transformation, or commercialization.

Nice to have

• Strategy consulting experience in life sciences.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, PharmD, or PhD.
