Assistant Controls Project Manager (BAS)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; on-site project work with travel to various job sites as required.

What you will do

• Support the Senior Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing out DDC control system projects.
• Help define project requirements, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate controls engineers, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Track project expenses, schedules, critical-path activities, delays, and change orders.
• Support client communication, project meetings, site visits, inspections, troubleshooting, and closeout documentation.
• Contribute technical expertise to pre-sales activities, project scoping, and cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in project management or controls engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of controls engineering, building automation systems, and DDC controls.
• Strong organization, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
