Client Services Manager (Energy Management)

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; hybrid, with approximately 3 days per week in the Leeds office

What you will do

• Manage client relationships and ensure expectations, SLAs, and KPIs are met.
• Oversee client portfolios covering energy procurement, bill validation, portfolio management, query handling, tenant recharging, budgeting, and carbon services.
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate delivery with analysts, coordinators, consultants, service teams, and subject matter experts.
• Lead team workload planning and support the delivery of client services and products.
• Develop routines and procedures for business-critical data flows and present energy data to clients.
• Build relationships with stakeholders ranging from plant managers to Finance Directors and provide energy industry guidance.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in energy consultancy, management consultancy, or strategic consultancy, including at least 3 years of team management and 2 years of TPI experience.
• Demonstrable experience developing and delivering energy and sustainability services.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK energy industry; European knowledge is advantageous.
• Knowledge of energy supply contracts, fixed and flexible procurement, energy markets, trading, futures contracts, portfolio management, bill validation, carbon services, and energy-efficiency projects.
• Quantitative background and the ability to work with energy datasets and financial information.
• Professional client communication skills and a hands-on approach to taking requests through to completion.

Nice to have

• Degree-level qualification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Experience with Europe-wide energy markets and services.
