What you will do

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in the required criminal justice discipline.
• Deliver courses in a fully online competency-based education format.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Facilitate courses according to the standard syllabus and course materials.
• Assess student grades and competency progression using provided assignments and assessments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field for undergraduate teaching, or a terminal degree in the field or a closely related discipline for graduate teaching.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work after business hours and on weekends.
• Submission of a cover letter, resume/CV, three professional references, and transcripts is required.

Nice to have

• Current relevant professional credentials.
• College or university teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence.
• Prior relevant industry experience.
• Online or hybrid teaching experience.
