Adjunct Faculty - CID/CBE Alternative Teacher Certification

What you will do

• Teach three graduate credit hours during each seven-week term in a fully online competency-based education format.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments, assessments, and evaluations.
• Facilitate courses using the standard syllabus and course materials provided by the Assistant Dean.
• Assess student performance and grades against defined competencies and assessment criteria.
• Work after business hours and on weekends as required.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Reading, Secondary Education, Bilingual Education, or a closely related field.
• At least 18 doctoral-level graduate hours in Curriculum & Instruction or Reading.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work cooperatively with minimal supervision.

• Employment is contingent on credential verification and a criminal history check.
