Fall Adjunct Faculty (Special Education Graduate Level) (Online)

Texas A&M International University is seeking qualified adjunct faculty for its College of Education and Educational Programs department.

What you will do

• Teach up to seven semester credit hours of graduate-level Special Education courses online, subject to student demand.
• Hold virtual office hours and assist students as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students and the public in oral and written form.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize academic responsibilities while meeting pressing timelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and work professionally under stress.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Special Education.
• Three years of EC–12 teaching experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, interact professionally, organize work, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Availability for temporary, part-time appointments assigned by semester and on an as-needed basis during the Fall 2026 semester and applicable sub-terms.
• Successful completion of a criminal history investigation and verification of credentials and other required information.

Nice to have

• Previous collegiate teaching experience.
• Experience with online course delivery.
