Director, Head of AI Enablement & Automation, HR (AI)

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States; São Paulo, Brazil; or Manila, Philippines. Travel of up to 15–20% domestically and internationally may be required. The position may follow Johnson & Johnson's flexible work model and applicable location requirements.

What you will do

• Define and execute the enterprise HR AI enablement and automation strategy across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle.
• Lead a team identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI capabilities and automation opportunities.
• Partner with HR, IT, digital product managers, and business leaders to deliver employee-centric digital experiences.
• Build and prioritize an AI-enabled workforce experience roadmap based on business value, employee impact, and organizational readiness.
• Drive the use of generative AI, conversational AI, intelligent automation, workflow orchestration, machine learning, and RPA.
• Establish responsible AI governance and measure adoption, value realization, operational outcomes, and business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in digital transformation, HR technology, automation, product management, or workforce experience.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise AI, automation, or digital transformation strategies.
• Experience deploying generative AI, conversational AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, RPA, or related technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing executive stakeholders, and managing digital product roadmaps in a complex global organization.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the applicable country without future sponsorship requirements where permitted by law.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Copilot, employee experience platforms, or related HR technology ecosystems.
• Experience with AI governance, risk management, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Background in product-led operating models, agile methodologies, analytics-driven decision frameworks, and large-scale transformation programs.
• Professional certifications in product management, agile, HR technology, AI, data, or digital transformation.
