Adjunct Faculty: CID-Health Services Administration-2 (Health Services Administration)

Location: Commerce, Texas; teaching is conducted fully online.

What you will do

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in a fully online competency-based education format.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Provide timely feedback on assignments, assessments, evaluations, and course materials.
• Facilitate courses using the standard syllabus and materials provided by the Associate Dean.
• Assess student grades based on assignments, competencies, assessments, and other standard course materials.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Healthcare Administration, Epidemiology, Public Health, or Health Policy and Administration for undergraduate teaching.
• Terminal degree in the field of study or a closely related field for graduate teaching.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work after business hours and on weekends.

Nice to have

• Current relevant professional credentials, such as Certified Nursing Home Administration Certification or Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional certification.
• College or university teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Online or hybrid teaching experience.
