Spring Adjunct Faculty (Biology) (Online)

Location: Laredo, Texas; online teaching with regular on-campus attendance and face-to-face interactions required

What you will do

• Teach up to six semester credit hours in biology online, according to program, course schedule, and student demand.
• Hold office hours and assist students as needed.
• Maintain a regular schedule of attendance on campus for face-to-face interactions.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize teaching-related responsibilities.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Biology with a concentration in Animal Nutrition, Epidemiology, Population Genetics, Bioinformatics, Behavioral Ecology, and/or Evolution.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the general public.
• Ability to work under stress and meet pressing timelines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Previous collegiate-level teaching experience.
• Relevant industry experience.
