Principal Master Data Architect & PLM Owner (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Design and govern the enterprise item master, including part numbering, component categorization, attributes, and lifecycle states.
• Architect data mappings, pipelines, and API integrations across CAD/EDA systems, PLM, ERP, and MES platforms.
• Establish automated data-quality rules and validation processes for duplicate, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted component data.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, deployment, configuration, and ownership of an enterprise cloud PLM platform such as Arena or Oracle Agile.
• Own ETL and migration of legacy data, engineering spreadsheets, and silicon and hardware designs into the PLM repository.
• Manage ECO, MCO, deviation, supplier-data syndication, BOM audit, compliance, and traceability workflows.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in master data management, configuration management, or product data architecture in complex hardware development.
• Experience leading a full-lifecycle enterprise PLM implementation or major migration; Arena or Oracle Agile experience is preferred.
• Experience integrating PLM with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle and scoping related APIs.
• Strong data analysis and validation skills, including SQL, advanced Excel, Python, or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of EDA data from Cadence, Altium, or Synopsys and mechanical CAD data from SolidWorks or Creo.
• BS/BA in engineering, information systems, operations, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Celigo, Workato, MuleSoft, or other middleware and iPaaS tools.
• Master's degree or relevant data governance certification.
• Background in silicon, HPC, ASIC, or server architecture.
