Sr. Data Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, code, and maintain complex SQL stored procedures and functions.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and performance-tune database environments, including performance, replication, and operational issues.
• Review SQL code for coding standards, best practices, and performance.
• Create SSIS packages for data transformation, cleansing, caching, aggregation, staging, and transfer.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to support development and design decisions.
• Maintain reusable development standards for new solutions and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience designing and maintaining complex SQL stored procedures and functions.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing database environments.
• Knowledge of SSIS and data transformation workflows.
• Ability to define and implement data validation and unit testing methods.
• Ability to review SQL code and apply development standards and best practices.
