Software Engineer (Fintech): Designing, developing, and maintaining application maintenance and enhancement solutions for credits and risk functionality in SaaS financial software with an accent on SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and solution design. Focus on analyzing complex technical and business requirements, optimizing existing functionality, and building automated tests in collaboration with business analysts, architects, and clients.
Location: Makati City, Philippines; hybrid and flexible working

What you will do
- Collaborate with the Team Lead, Business Analysts, technical leads, architects, and other Software Engineers.
- Write solution designs for new developments and participate in technical reviews.
- Participate in client workshops and support requirements analysis.
- Design, develop, maintain, improve, and optimize functionality for the Credits & Risks area.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and contribute to quality assurance.
- Work with agile processes and Jira while taking ownership of the area of expertise.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Ability to understand business needs and produce clean designs and high-quality code.
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking with a structured and autonomous approach to complex technical and business problems.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking, financial services, credits, or risks.
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
