Fund Accounting, Manager (Alternative Asset Management)

Location: New York, United States

Expected annual base salary: $115,000–$185,000, excluding additional compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Account for hirify.global funds using general ledgers and internal workpapers.
• Review daily bank activity, manage cash with deal teams, and reconcile loan investments and debt financings with tracking models.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements, capital statements, LP distributions, capital calls, reporting deliverables, and workpapers.
• Review management fees, rebates, offsets, realized and unrealized waterfall calculations, and gross levered, unlevered, and net IRR calculations.
• Lead day-to-day work of the offshore center of excellence team and analyst/associate staff to ensure timely, accurate workpapers and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with deal, legal, tax, treasury, operations, and Luxembourg third-party administrator teams; support audits, partnership tax returns, ad hoc projects, and system implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting is required.
• 7+ years of public or private accounting experience is preferred.
• Audit and financial services experience is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills are preferred.
• Ability to communicate issues, develop solutions, and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.
