Material Flow Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop material flow engineers, technologists, and process technicians.
• Design and implement delivery routes, point-of-use presentation, replenishment methods, and line-side layouts using lean manufacturing principles.
• Oversee material flow operations, warehouse management workflows, inventory presentation, and process efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate engineering changes, effective dates, packaging improvements, and material-handling solutions with cross-functional partners and vendors.
• Plan and execute material flow requirements for production line consolidations, new product introductions, and other major transformation projects.
• Lead kaizen events, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, standard work, visual management, and continuous-flow initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant material flow, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience leading and developing salaried employees in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Strong experience designing and improving material flow processes with lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, including AS400 or similar, Microsoft 365, and process mapping tools such as Visio.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
