Vice President of Public Finance Capital Markets (Municipal Finance)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; primary office at 626 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

What you will do

• Originate and execute municipal finance transactions, including structuring, pricing, and advising on bond issuances.
• Prepare RFP responses, client pitches, presentations, and related financing solutions.
• Underwrite new-issue municipal bonds through transaction structuring, pricing, book-building, and client calls.
• Maintain and transact in secondary bond inventory, manage market risks, and hedge positions as appropriate.
• Develop institutional investor relationships, market new issues and secondary balances, and support distribution strategies.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, technology, operations, relationship managers, external partners, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of job-related experience.
• BA or BS degree.
• Appropriate FINRA licenses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, management, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
