What you will do

• Analyze complex information requests and municipal financing situations.
• Help structure and price customer debt offerings with the Capital Markets Municipal Underwriter.
• Develop financing alternatives and advise municipal customers on funding methods.
• Supervise Capital Markets Quantitative Analysts and ensure the quality and timeliness of their work.
• Prepare responses to municipal Requests for Proposals and pursue underwriting groups or financial advisory contracts.
• Build relationships with municipal and finance personnel and identify opportunities for direct financing and other banking services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in municipal finance.
• Knowledge of laws, rulings, and regulations related to municipal finance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, DBC, and IPREO.

Nice to have

• An existing network of municipal finance manager relationships.
• Experience as a school district CFO or superintendent.
