Senior C++ Engineer (Chromium)

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end features from research and design through production.
• Work deeply with the Chromium open-source codebase to solve enterprise security and productivity challenges.
• Design and implement low-level functionality for large-scale, real-time, multi-platform systems.
• Collaborate with product, web development, security, and field engineering teams.
• Interact with customers and address real-world enterprise requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on low-level software development experience in C++ or C, preferably using modern standards.
• Deep understanding of systems internals or a low-level research background.
• Experience with low-level design practices.
• Experience developing large-scale, real-time, multi-platform systems for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of network protocols and network topologies.
• Understanding of browser concepts such as sandboxing, profiles, CSP, and certificate handling.
• Experience with the Chromium codebase or browser extension development.
