What you will do

• Lead the engineering team on a day-to-day basis, clarifying roles, responsibilities, and performance indicators.
• Foster collaboration, provide constructive feedback, manage performance issues, and support professional development.
• Provide technical expertise on engineering personnel, applications, and processes to management, operations, manufacturing, quality, colleagues, and customers.
• Develop feasible, cost-effective, and reliable mechanical designs from concept through production.
• Resolve highly complex problems beyond existing methodologies and disciplinary boundaries.
• Contribute to innovative product and process development while mentoring higher-performing engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of practical engineering experience, preferably in the energy sector.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with industry codes, including ASME Section VIII and API, is preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of connector products and services is preferred.
• Knowledge of Mathcad, ANSYS nonlinear analysis, and ADPL scripting is preferred.
