Compensation Manager

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States; office environment with occasional travel.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and administer global compensation programs, including base salary structures and short- and long-term incentive plans.
• Advise HR Business Partners, business leaders, and internal stakeholders on pay decisions, job leveling, offers, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
• Lead benchmarking, compensation surveys, market analysis, salary ranges, and geographic differentials.
• Manage annual merit, bonus, payout, equity, job evaluation, and pay administration processes in partnership with HRIS and Finance.
• Maintain job architecture and compensation data integrity in systems such as Workday and BetterComp.
• Lead global compensation harmonization, incentive plan optimization, and M&A due diligence and integration initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least eight years of compensation experience in a centralized compensation department.
• Experience delivering compliance-based and consultative compensation solutions to internal clients.
• Experience with HR technology platforms such as Workday, Oracle Cloud HR, or SAP SuccessFactors, and compensation tools such as BetterComp, CompAnalyst, or MarketPay.
• Expertise in compensation design, governance, market practices, global regulations, analytics, and pay equity.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed global organization.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• CCP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Global compensation experience across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
