What you will do
- Develop new business relationships and service existing business customers by identifying banking needs and recommending products and services.
- Maintain a prospective customer call program through referrals, cold calls, professional organizations, and community activities.
- Build referral relationships with CPAs, attorneys, and other professional contacts.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Retail, and Trust personnel to support business development and strengthen the Bank’s community presence.
- Prepare accurate and timely business development reports and advise Business Development Officers and Commercial Bankers on development approaches.
- Monitor and manage business risks while following regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree.
- At least 7 years of experience.
- Experience in commercial or business banking.
- General knowledge of lending laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills, intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to use job-related software.
