What you will do

• Perform multi-craft maintenance and repairs across electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, millwright, and painting work.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete scheduled and emergency repairs, rebuilds, inspections, and maintenance routines.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on plant and facility equipment to support efficient production operations.
• Perform plant rounds, water readings, wastewater sampling, boiler and refrigeration checks, and water treatment analysis.
• Complete basic three-phase wiring repairs and motor replacements, and update equipment histories, drawings, schematics, and spare-parts logs.
• Support other departments, consult with engineers and vendors, maintain tools and work areas, and guide less-skilled assistants.

Requirements

• Practical experience in a primary maintenance craft and working knowledge of several additional maintenance trades.
• Ability to use shop machinery and hand tools and perform mechanical troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
• Ability to follow site safety, environmental, PPE, safe-work-permit, and life-saving policies.
• Ability to maintain accurate safety records, equipment histories, technical drawing updates, and spare-parts usage logs.
• Regular attendance and compliance with drug-free workplace and other company policies are required.
• Understanding of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, food safety, and related quality and environmental procedures.
