Employee Relations Manager (Human Resources)

What you will do

• Conduct thorough, impartial, and timely HR investigations into harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and other policy breaches across assigned EMEA countries.
• Prepare investigation plans, interview notes, case records, and clear summaries of findings for HR, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders.
• Advise and coach people leaders on performance management, probation, disciplinary and grievance matters, workplace adjustments, and conflict resolution.
• Manage employee relations cases from intake to closure, maintaining accurate case-management data and supporting regional reporting.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and regional stakeholders to ensure consistent, compliant employee relations practices.
• Support the Employee Relations Centre of Excellence, training initiatives, process standardisation, and analysis of case trends and risks.

Requirements

• At least five years of practical experience managing complex Employee Relations casework and conducting workplace investigations.
• Fluency in English and French, written and spoken, is required.
• Strong understanding of French employment law and related HR practices.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and regulatory requirements fairly and consistently.
• Ability to manage sensitive cases, difficult conversations, multiple priorities, confidentiality, and independent decision-making.
• Experience collaborating across countries and cultures, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working with works councils, unions, and employee representative bodies.
• Additional fluency in German, Arabic, Spanish, or Italian.
• Experience supporting process improvement or Centre of Excellence standardisation initiatives.
