Senior Data Engineer

Location: Minneapolis headquarters; four days per week in-office and one day working from home. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Salary: $115,00–$144,000 annually, with potential additional compensation through commission and/or an incentive program.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Design dimensional data models, star schemas, and data warehousing solutions for business intelligence and analytics.
• Develop and orchestrate batch and real-time ETL/ELT workflows with Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow using Python and SQL.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, data quality, and data integration workflows.
• Build CI/CD automation and reproducible data environments that support machine learning model deployment and monitoring.
• Lead data solution implementation, collaborate with architects and analysts, and mentor other data engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience using Cloud Composer or similar tools.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines on GCP, AWS, Azure, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with data quality, validation, testing, governance, and secure data handling.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Nice to have

• Cloud-native data infrastructure experience, preferably with GCP and exposure to AWS.
• Familiarity with MLOps or production machine learning pipelines.
• Exposure to domain-driven architecture.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
