Fund Accounting Associate

Location: Miami, United States; onsite role

Expected annual base salary: $100,000–$140,000

What you will do

• Review daily and monthly estimated and final fund NAVs.
• Prepare and review capital call and distribution allocations.
• Track investment costs and monitor the fair value of investments.
• Oversee quarterly NAV and portfolio reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies with internal operations teams.
• Calculate management fees, distributions, waterfall allocations, IRR, forecasts, and performance estimates.
• Review investor statements and internal reporting, coordinate year-end audits, and oversee the offshore team.

Requirements

• BS or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of fund, audit, administrator, public accounting, or private accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, technical, communication, and Excel skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Experience with private equity, hedge funds, or audit is preferred.
• Knowledge of SEC or other relevant regulatory filings for investment funds is preferred.

• CPA certification.
