Sr. Building Automation Specialist

What you will do

• Develop, review, program, test, and commission sophisticated DDC control strategies using Control Basic and function block diagrams.
• Provide senior technical leadership on programming, controls architecture, system integration, troubleshooting, and complex technical issues.
• Integrate DDC systems with HVAC, lighting, security, energy management, and other building systems.
• Analyze system performance, diagnose root causes, and implement control adjustments that improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, reliability, and building performance.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, technicians, clients, and other stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Prepare technical documentation, support quality assurance, and provide client training and ongoing technical support.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DDC controls programming, building automation, or a related controls discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with Tridium Niagara, Siemens Talon, Distech, or comparable DDC programming platforms.
• Strong knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, lighting controls, energy management systems, and associated electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks communication protocols.
• Advanced experience with the Niagara Framework, Tridium platforms, or comparable technologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and independent working skills.
