What you will do
- Execute monthly accounting close activities for assigned APAC House and Fund entities, including journal entries, accruals, allocations and supporting schedules.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and drive timely resolution of outstanding breaks.
- Prepare statutory and management reporting packages with variance analysis and explanations of key movements.
- Manage accounting processes including intercompany, accruals, allocations and balance sheet substantiation, coordinating with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury and Tax.
- Maintain internal controls, process documentation, control monitoring, issue remediation and audit readiness.
- Support tax compliance, regulatory filings, APAC surveys and regional projects focused on control, process and system improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA/CA qualification or progress toward it is preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in audit, accounting or financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS or Local GAAP, with strong financial control fundamentals.
- Strong technical accounting, analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with financial systems or ERPs is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, accountability and attention to detail.
