Director, APAC Corporate Strategy (Pharmaceutical Industry): Analyzing pharmaceutical and healthcare industry trends, business models, strategies, and economics for executive decision-making, strategic planning, client engagement, and industry presentations with an accent on APAC market intelligence, strategic recommendations, and executive storytelling. Focus on managing analytical and graphical resources, influencing senior stakeholders, tailoring insights for key clients, and supporting complex business development and strategic planning initiatives.

What you will do

  • Track, analyze, and develop points of view on APAC and global pharmaceutical and healthcare trends.
  • Translate industry structures, strategies, business models, and economics into strategic and commercial implications for IQVIA and its clients.
  • Prepare, tailor, maintain, and deliver complex presentations for executives, external audiences, and key clients.
  • Manage strategic business planning and coordinate its links with Marketing, Consulting, and Sales.
  • Lead special projects such as client win-backs, investor relations meetings, executive support, and business development initiatives.
  • Manage the creation, maintenance, training, and presentation of the global industry repository and provide speaker support to executives.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and preferably broader healthcare exposure.
  • Experience analyzing industry structures, strategies, business models, and economics and converting findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and operate as an internal authority and external thought leader.
  • Superior analytical, communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.
  • Native or near-native English proficiency is required, with English as the primary working language.

Nice to have

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, consulting, finance, or operations environments.
  • Life sciences experience.
  • Chinese language capability.
