Senior Software Engineer - Software Architecture & AI Specialty

Salary: $95,336.84–$165,772.27 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop secure, scalable generative AI solutions integrated with client tools, enterprise platforms, and diverse data sources.
• Architect and build cloud-based software and infrastructure for AI/ML use cases.
• Develop training, validation, and test datasets, preprocessing scripts, AI models, evaluation metrics, and AI/ML pipelines.
• Develop APIs and integrate commercial and cloud-based applications through REST and Open APIs.
• Deploy containerized models and automate AI/ML pipelines using cloud services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software development teams and occasionally demonstrate software technology to customers.

Requirements

• BS degree with 5–7 years of experience, MS degree with 3–5 years, or PhD with 0–2 years in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Professional software engineering experience with Python and Matlab.
• Graph-based and data science skills, including PyGraph and Pydantic.
• Experience with AI/MLOps and Azure and/or AWS AI services.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, database administration, web database integration, and software application integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Cloud security and compliance experience.
• Pipeline development and management using GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Software application design with UML or SysML.
• Technical management, systems engineering, and digital engineering experience.
