ERP Developer III (JDE)

Location: Waterloo, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid role

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain JDE customizations, orchestrations, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Support sales order management, pricing and promotions, customer and product master data, distribution, fulfillment, returns, and credit processing.
• Gather and refine business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and bridge functional and technical needs.
• Lead ERP project scoping, system design, implementation, go-live support, and lifecycle delivery.
• Review code, maintain development standards and documentation, and resolve complex production issues across the ERP ecosystem.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in AI-assisted work item discovery and requirements refinement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on ERP development experience with demonstrated JDE expertise.
• Advanced proficiency with Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid, Business Function development, and Orchestrator.
• Ability to architect, document, and deliver end-to-end solutions across the ERP development lifecycle.
• Understanding of Finance, Manufacturing, or Sales & Distribution processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and identifying defects, security gaps, and quality issues in human- and agent-generated output.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding, intelligent automation, or AI-driven process analysis; all output must receive human approval before release.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JDE modules across Finance, Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution, or Transportation Management.
• Experience with DSI, Transform, ProShip, Loftware, or Basware.
• Experience with APIs, EDI, web services, middleware/SOA platforms, JDE Orchestrator Framework, or cloud integration tools.
