Location: Mahia, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand; relocation to Mahia is mandatory

What you will do

  • Support all Electron launch activities at LC-1.
  • Build, test, and maintain critical electrical launch systems.
  • Work closely with technicians and engineers to prepare systems for launch.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make sound decisions under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Represent hirify.global within the local community and build long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • Current unrestricted New Zealand electrical license
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed schematics, drawings, and instructions.
  • Computer literacy and ability to understand basic programming.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Eligibility to access equipment and data regulated by U.S. ITAR, with nationality checks conducted before an employment offer

Nice to have

  • Commercial or industrial experience.
  • Experience with instrumentation, control systems, data systems, and equipment.
  • Basic maintenance and repair experience with generators and UPS systems.
  • Understanding of pneumatic, cryogenic, or hydraulic fluid systems.
  • First Aid qualifications.
