Analyst, Asset Management (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Weehawken, New Jersey, United States

Annual full-time base salary: $100,000–$115,000, with potential eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support the ongoing asset management of commercial real estate loan portfolios to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, rent rolls, guarantor strength, real estate ownership schedules, debt service coverage ratios, debt yield, and collateral valuations.
• Prepare loan and credit analyses for presentation to business unit management and lines of defense.
• Conduct market research, industry analysis, sponsor reviews, and other detailed due diligence.
• Build and enhance asset management reporting, portfolio analysis activities, and loan tracking systems.
• Coordinate loan setup and servicing activities while working with underwriters, originators, legal and compliance teams, loan closers, internal counsel, operations, and the third-party servicer.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or a closely related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in wealth management or a financial services organization.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and navigate multiple divisions within a large bank structure.
• Dedication to superior client service and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
