1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance department functions, programs, and support services.
• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for plant machinery, tools, buildings, and other assets.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and facility problems using diagrams, manuals, and manufacturing specifications.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with operating department requirements.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and manage maintenance personnel, including supporting interviews and hiring.
• Lead continuous improvement and safety initiatives, maintain repair records, and order required parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Post-high school education.
• 3–5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, plus 1–3 years of experience managing people.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, welding, precision tools, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
• Knowledge of safe equipment practices, applicable laws and regulations, and hazardous materials handling procedures.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software.
• At least 18 years of age.
