Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Whitewater, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, 1st shift Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM

What you will do

• Perform emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance on production lines and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, PLC, and small outdoor power equipment.
• Support seasonal exterior facility maintenance, waste management, and routine building and grounds maintenance.
• Identify required parts and materials and maintain preventive-maintenance records and work orders.
• Maintain the facility’s 5S program and comply with required training and safety procedures.
• Communicate with vendors and collaborate across departments to resolve equipment and facility issues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, automation, or products.
• Ability to identify problems, implement solutions, and prioritize daily and weekly work assignments.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO, and NEC requirements.
• PIV and aerial-lift training and certification.
• Basic PC and Windows knowledge.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, work around equipment, and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints, and building schematics.
• Experience creating preventive-maintenance procedures and diagnosing equipment faults.
• Ability to acquire and maintain service-equipment operating certifications.
