Horticulture Technician

Location: hirify.global San Antonio, United States; onsite work required

Compensation: $14.00 per hour

A large amusement park organization focused on animal care, guest experiences, and maintaining park attractions and grounds.

What you will do

• Maintain park grounds through mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, planting, pruning, and container maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean and maintain high-quality landscaping standards.
• Record completed activities accurately and operate park vehicles.
• Provide service to guests and Ambassadors while following safe work practices and using personal protective equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions except lightning and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plants or landscaping.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain a park driver's license is preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Basic operational knowledge of power and hand tools.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push at least 50 lbs and stand or walk for long periods in extreme weather.

Nice to have

• Ability to obtain a park driver's license.
