Supervisor, Theatrical Services

Location: hirify.global Orlando, United States; on-site work in local parks, including indoor and outdoor environments, around water, and at heights up to 60 feet.

What you will do

• Create master schedules for technical events and maintain contingency plans across construction, fabrication, programming, installation, and strike phases.
• Monitor the quality, suitability, and accuracy of technical designs for assigned shows.
• Operate and program lighting consoles and direct the installation of theatrical equipment.
• Lead technical and production meetings while coordinating with design, construction, production staff, clients, and contractors.
• Direct repairs, specify equipment, and ensure show readiness and long-term equipment performance.
• Coach, mentor, direct, and evaluate project support personnel and contract technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Entertainment, Theater, or Management, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
• At least 2 years of theatrical design or entertainment project management experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, theatrical lighting plots, blueprints, drafting, and CAD.
• Understanding of lighting equipment, concert truss, flying and ground-support rigging, and electrical fundamentals.
• Strong organizational, planning, documentation, leadership, and team-management skills.
• Availability for opening, mid, closing, night, weekend, and holiday shifts based on park needs; ability to work indoors and outdoors, around water, at height, and in varying weather conditions.
