News & Localization Manager (Crypto)

What you will do

• Write and publish 3–4 fact-based German news articles daily covering crypto, finance, technology, and AI.
• Source locally relevant stories from German and EU developments, regulatory activity, and market-specific angles.
• Own the quality of the German website localization, including navigation, buttons, product pages, and error messages.
• Track organic traffic, German keyword rankings, engagement metrics, and article performance to inform content strategy.
• Monitor the German crypto, fintech, and regulatory landscape, including BaFin and MiCA developments.
• Maintain an objective, non-promotional editorial approach and coordinate localization improvements.

Requirements

• Native German fluency is required, along with strong professional English.
• At least 2 years of crypto industry experience and 2 years of professional writing experience in Germany or the DACH region.
• Professional experience covering financial markets, technology, or breaking news.
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency fundamentals, market dynamics, sourcing, and verification.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console, German-language SEO, WordPress, and CMS localization workflows.
• Ability to independently produce 3–4 high-quality articles per day while maintaining regulatory sensitivity and journalistic neutrality.

Nice to have

• Experience as a country or market lead for a digital platform or media outlet.
• Familiarity with EU and German financial and data regulations, including GDPR and MiCA.
• Experience managing content-heavy platforms with global or multi-market audiences.
