What you will do

• Support and assist with the preparation and design of food orders.
• Maintain brand standards, local health and safety requirements, food hygiene, and food-handling practices.
• Ensure consistent execution of kitchen systems, processes, food standards, portioning, quality, and service speed.
• Help senior management build and develop a functional hourly kitchen team focused on guest service.
• Serve as a Culinary Learning Coach by supporting learning and development programs for Heart of House employees.
• Cover the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including restaurant culinary experience.
• Required local food management and safety certifications or qualifications.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Strong verbal, written, communication, listening, problem-solving, presentation, and business skills.
• Ability to work in environments involving extended standing and walking, heat, cold, chemicals, and loud noise.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, balance, and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds, and to travel by car or airplane for extended periods.
