VDC Coordinator III (BIM)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA, IN, MI, MO, NV, OH, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WV. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preference is given to applicants in Arizona.

Salary: $101,000–$130,000 in Virginia and $106,000–$136,000 in Washington annually.

What you will do

• Lead VDC and BIM support across multiple complex projects and serve as the primary BIM/VDC point person.
• Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans and support company VDC standards and strategy.
• Create and manage federated Navisworks models integrating architectural, structural, MEP, and fire protection disciplines.
• Lead clash detection meetings, multidisciplinary coordination reviews, constructability assessments, and field layout support.
• Provide advanced Revit and Navisworks troubleshooting, model quality control, schedule customization, and performance optimization.
• Manage VDC scope, schedules, budgets, coordination issues, RFIs, and action items while training and mentoring junior VDC staff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of VDC/BIM coordination experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and relevant VDC/BIM software.
• Hands-on experience with Revit models, families, views, sheets, schedules, construction documentation, linked models, worksharing, and model performance.
• Experience with BIM coordination, model integration, clash detection, MEP systems, construction methods, applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
