Electrical Designer II (Data Centers)

Location: Remote within specified U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: Virginia $76,800–$97,000 per year; Washington $80,500–$101,700 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documents for data centers and commercial construction projects.
• Perform drafting under the direction of project managers and engineers while meeting project requirements and deadlines.
• Create and maintain company-specific AutoCAD standards and technical details.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve design challenges and improve drafting processes.
• Conduct quality checks and support design revisions, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.
• Assist with Revit model integration and BIM coordination when applicable.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an electrical designer or drafter.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with Revit.
• Background in mechanical, plumbing, structural, or architectural drafting.
