Engineering Technician III

What you will do

• Set up test equipment and products according to testing procedures.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, environmental, and electromechanical tests on prototypes, existing products, and competitor products.
• Use mechanical, electrical, and electronic measurement devices and accurately document measurements.
• Assist with assembling and fabricating test equipment and prototype products from blueprint specifications.
• Support manufacturing troubleshooting, test documentation, database administration, and formal and informal test reporting.
• Assist with engineering laboratory audits and 5S organization programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Five years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to interpret scientific notation, temperature, pressure, and other measurements.
• Ability to work with frequent standing, walking, computer-based tasks, and occasional lifting of 25–50 pounds.
