Product Development Engineer (Systems / Mechanical / R&D)

What you will do

• Drive continuous improvements to current product lines through design changes and process improvements.
• Design and analyze subsystems for current and new products.
• Integrate systems and subsystems, troubleshoot issues, and perform testing.
• Lead early supplier involvement in technology development and new product introduction programs.
• Balance technical and business requirements related to product performance, cost reduction, product improvements, and problem resolution.
• Train and develop suppliers supporting wafer inspection and metrology products.

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in a technical engineering field or related discipline.
• 7–9 years of experience in hardware engineering or product development and manufacturing operations.
• Technical understanding of wafer inspection and metrology products.
• Strong technical, business, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel on short notice.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of product life cycle management, ECO, and SAP systems.
