Manufacturing Engineer (Engines) (Manufacturing Engineering): Leading the design, fabrication, validation, and production release of manufacturing components, systems, processes, and equipment with an accent on technical project planning, data-supported decisions, and process improvement. Focus on developing prototypes, evaluating product and process solutions, and designing equipment and automation for complex manufacturing systems.
Location: Fully onsite in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States
Salary: $83,300–$105,200 per year

What you will do
- Prepare technical project plans covering objectives, tasks, timelines, cost estimates, and product cost analyses.
- Lead projects from design and prototype construction through testing, evaluation, delivery, and production release.
- Design and improve manufacturing subassemblies, systems, processes, equipment, and facilities.
- Use data, decision-support tools, and critical thinking to make and communicate technical decisions.
- Monitor developments in engine design and manufacturing engineering through professional publications, events, and technical training.
- Communicate technical information through written documentation, presentations, and collaboration with core teams and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering, or a related engineering technology discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in a technical and complex manufacturing industry.
- Experience creating and reading process flow diagrams and 2D CAD layouts.
- Strong written and verbal communication, initiative, sense of urgency, and computer skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Commitment to continuous learning and developing new technical skills.
Nice to have
- AutoCAD experience.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines or generators.
- Experience with equipment design, automation, or PLC programming.
