What you will do

• Create, execute, and document automated tests for innovative mobile applications.
• Lead testers through the development and execution of automated test scripts.
• Work with clients to establish consistent test methodologies and resolve automation testing questions.
• Analyze, test, and certify application-specific software and review requirements and functional specifications for ambiguity.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex testing problems while researching new QA methodologies and standards.
• Log, track, and verify software and specification defects, and mentor less experienced staff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT quality assurance and systems or application testing experience.
• Experience with Cucumber and Ruby.
• Proficiency in creating automated tests for mobile applications.
• Advanced knowledge of application testing and complex test problem resolution.
• Contract position based in San Francisco, California.
• W-2 candidates only; C2C arrangements are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Awetest automation application.
